This gallery has prototype constructions of individual’s visual voice paired with audible recordings rendered by the diagnostic coupling of ranges of vocal pitch corresponding to letter stroke thickness, sound duration represented as physical letter width, and sound volume expressed in height of letter. They are the embodiment of each person’s visual voice using facilitating the unique nuances of their audible voice manifested in a personalized typographical form.
At this stage with all participants saying the same given line, I feel there is a monotone to the level of variations. It is my conjecture that once the app is developed and users can say anything they desire and see the physical outcome, their voice patterns will not be so constricted and dynamic variations will show more. It also may be that the outer ranges are too far set and an adjustment or default will need to be put in place to have the dynamic variations.
